We
have been learning about the lifecycle of living things. We have learnt that
living things share in the same cycle of growth, change, reproduction and
death. In class we were able to observe the beginning of the lifecycle of a
chicken. We watched the chicks hatch out of their eggs and observed how they
have grown over time. Each week we have been recording the height, width and
mass of the chicks and documenting changes to their appearance. Learning about
lifecycles has helped us gain a better understanding of how things grow and
change over time and what they need to survive.
