Tinker Time

During Tinker Time, students have been learning about kites. We have learnt that kites are much more than just a fun toy to play with. In the past, they have been used to measure distance, test wind and were even used to invent the first aeroplane!

We made our own kites using plastic bags and paper and explored what forces helped keep it in the air.  After this, we looked at what we could change to improve our kites. We experimented with different string lengths and tails.

Milo Cricket Cup

On Monday, Stage Two and Three students participated in the Milo Cricket Cup. The boys and girls competed against other schools and played four games in gala style format. All students had the opportunity to bat, bowl and field and win some cool prizes. The students enjoyed the fun and excitement of the day and were able to experience what it would be like playing at the real KFC T20 Big Bash.

Book Parade

On Friday we had our Book Parade. It was lots of fun celebrating our favourite books and seeing all the amazing costumes.
